Caring for dry skin in winter
Cold weather and dry indoor air can leave skin feeling especially dry. When humidity drops, skin loses moisture more quickly, and areas like hands, elbows, and knees tend to feel it first.
Why skin feels drier in winter
Cold outdoor air holds less moisture, and heated indoor air is drier still. Moving between the two, day after day, can leave skin feeling tight and rough.
Where whipped shea butter fits in
Shea butter is commonly used in moisturizers to help soften skin and reduce moisture loss. BOKOO is whipped Ghanaian shea butter blended with shea oil, so it spreads easily and is an easy addition to a daily moisturizing routine.
How to use it
Warm a little between your palms and smooth onto dry skin — hands, elbows, knees, and other areas that need extra moisture. A little at a time, wherever you need it.
Storing it
Keep the lid closed and store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
